Searching for truth is a noble enterprise.
It is important to realize that there are two kinds of truths:
(a) Truths about the world we live in.
(b) Truths about the Unknown Beyond, about gods and angels, heaven and hell, about the superiority of political ideologies.
Trying to spread the first kind of truth is science education. This will make ours a more enlightened world.
Trying to spread the second kind of truth can be dangerous. A good deal of harm and hurt, bloodshed and war has been perpetrated by zealots to spread what they imagine to be Truths about the hereafter.
