Some have suggested, with the resurgence of religious fervor in many countries, that atheism is slowly dying.
Up to a point this seems to be true. Atheism is growing ever so firmly in the hearts and minds of thinking youngsters in many parts of the world, especially in theocratic countries headed by ultra-religious males trying to inflict their Middle-Age mindset on 21st century youths.
Atheism, bigoted or refined, is bound to grow whenever and wherever youthful minds are exposed to science and technology, questioning and Quora, free sex and drinks, gender-equality and freedom of thought.
But this will take time.
At the same time it should not be a surprise if some refines and sophisticated form of theism emergence in many cultures.
But barring natural catastrophes these will disinfect the dark minds clouding the so called religious life of millions.
More exactly atheism is nor dying. Rather, mindless religious beliefs and practices are slowly, but surely dying, wherever blasphemy laws are not stifling and mauling the human spirit.
