Is atheism dangerous for the moral health of society?

In some/many ways Theism has helped form the moral basis of many societies, for the good and (sometimes) for the bad.

However, this question is equivalent to asking:

Is Reasoning, Drawing one’s own conclusions, Not being persuaded by ancestral, ancient and medieval frameworks dangerous for the moral health of society?

Certainly not, for intelligent, awakened, and decent people.
