Q&A: Why are people incapable ofrational solutionsto economic problems?

We encounter two kinds of problems:

(a) Those that have no effect whatever on the human condition. (exopotent)

(b) Those that affect us individually or collectively as groups or as human beings. (endopotent).

In dealing with ewxopotgent problems the clear human mind can analyze matters rationally.

In dealing with endopotent problems  rational thinking often tends to be constrained or  unconsciously contaminated by personal and emotional factors.
