What matters for a new religion in the modern world is not belief systems, deities, rituals, and texts: which anyone with a little imagination can cook up, but how to propagate/sell it.
So, IF you are serious about it you should consult someone at Madison Ave or elsewhere to found a religion with a catchy name.
However, at a time when many people are getting more attached to one of the currently popular religions (ethnic identity, cultural roots and what not), and many others are getting away from religions (more education, more science, more Enlightenment, and Nova programs), your project may not have too many takers. But who can tell! More frightening things are happenning in the world.
Perhaps a better idea would be to start a program for feeding and clothing the poor in your neighborhood/community.
