Like the sharp knife that can be used to slice breads and cut fruits, as well as to stab and slay, Monotheism can be used to firm-up faith and deepen devotion to the God of one’s creed as also to look down upon the Gods of other religions and condemn, persecute, or kill people who subscribe to different visions of God or believe in no God at all.
Ultimately, it is not this –ism or that theology that causes heaven or havoc, but how the so-called leaders of religions influence, inspire, and instigate the masses under they sway.
