What is supernatural consists of:

(a)  Whatever transcends (is beyond the Natural as described above). Eg. God, Gabriel, cherubim, Jinn, Satan, nymph, apsara,….

OR

(b )What emerges freely from creative human imagination.

There is considerable difference of opinion as to whether (a) or (b) is true.

This can be so strong that in some countries those who hold on to (b) are severely/inhumanly punished in the name of their Merciful God. Given that billions of people subscribe to, or are under the control of authorities who subscribe to (a), there is very little those holding on to (b) can do about this.
