Good teachers instill sound values
Along with the knowledge one can use:
Like being kind and compassionate,
And never others to really hate.
Teachers aren’t there just to teach
Or from a pedestal loftily preach.
They act as caring guide and loving friend
Who to the world their students send.
The good they’ll do no one can tell:
They’ll surely serve their people well.
Much of the good a generation does
Is due to the teachers who made it thus.
