OUR PRESENT AGE: AHHC

The age in which we live (the first decades of the Twenty-First Century) may well be called The Age of Helpless Hyper-Consciousness: AHHC.

We have become so much more aware of all the evils in the world (past, present, and future).

There is fanatical clinging to one’s own ethnicity, religion, and ideology, often with the delusion of superiority.

There is great recognition of humanity’s unfulfilled ideals: social justice, global equality, and freedom in the best sense; and the consequent feeling of helplessness.
